The Birthday Party

No-one ever chooses to be ashamed.

Áine’s granny is suffering with her nerves. Áine’s not feeling great either. They’d both talk about it… if the problem wasn’t that it’s hard to talk about.

Áine’s throwing a party, and god knows we could do with one. There’ll be balloons, and pretty dresses, and maybe even cake.

“The Birthday Party” is a deeply personal story we can all relate to: it’s about how the place you’re from shapes who you are, whether you like it or not. It’s about home, and family, and why the inside of your head can be the most unwelcoming place of all.

Come and join us in a celebration for those who can’t celebrate themselves.
