Home @ The New Theatre

HOME is a new play by Megan O’Malley tackling the legal grey areas around consent and abortion law in Ireland. Anna is a first year college student who is on trial for allegedly defying an injunction put in place to stop her continuing with her plans to have an abortion. It is now time for you, the jury; to listen to the facts of the case and decide the verdict.

HOME was performed at the New Theatre from January 22nd – February 3rd 2018. The play tackles important and hyper-relevant topics with a focus on the grey areas of consent and abortion rights in the legal system
